Today’s race was won by the Ferrari 458 GT3 driven by Mario Cordoni, while Bianchi crossed the line second, ahead of Mezard – also behind the wheel of a Ferrari and Bianchi’s main competitor for the title.
Thus Bianchi’s winning streak continues behind the wheel of Kessel Racing cars: after his wins in the 2014 Ferrari Challenge Europe – where he won the European Championship as well as the Finali Mondiali – now there’s another prestigious title for Max.
RONNIE KESSEL (Team Principal): “This was a great day for Max Bianchi and Kessel Racing. Max has been racing with us for three seasons now and after the first year, when he settled in with the team, he started winning. Last year he won the European Championship in the Ferrari Challenge as well as the Finali Mondiali. This year he decided to compete in a Gran Turismo Championship and his feeling for the car, new for him, hasn’t changed. He was quick straight away, immediately competitive and immediately he started to win. Fantastic. Great news also from Valencia, where we participated in the Ferrari Challenge. Now, to conclude the season, we immediately concentrate on the Finali Mondiali, the prestigious event in Mugello, where, as it is our tradition, we want to be a main protagonist.”
