The era-defining saga of the Zonda is dotted with true icons, and between them the Zonda R Evo stands as one of the most extreme and awe-inspiring.
A raw diamond clad in carbon fibre, this track-only special features a series of performance-driven improvements, making it even more focused than its predecessors.
The wheelbase is slightly longer than previous Zonda models, fitting in forged suspension arms, a ceramic coated exhaust system, Brembo brakes (380mm discs), 19” and 20” wheels front and rear, a roll cage, carbon fibre seats and a five-point harness.
But magic also happens behind the driver. The R Evo’s 6-litre AMG V12 (from the same M120 engine family as the original C12) boasts 750 HP and is bolted directly to the central monocoque, together with a 6-speed sequential gearbox that takes just 20 milliseconds between shifts. Thanks to a weight reduced to just 1.070 Kg, it is able to catapult the driver from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 2.7 seconds.
Just 15 R Evos were built: a limited batch of unique machines celebrating Pagani’s dedication to the utmost performance, and providing ad ode to the thrill of driving.
