WHO WE ARE
It all started in 1971, when racing driver Loris Kessel gave birth to Racing Car SA in Grancia – at the outskirts of Lugano – with a precise vision: delivering excellent products and services in the luxury automotive sector.
Loris’ career culminated in Formula 1, but was marked by an eclectic approach that brought him from rally stages to prestigious endurance and GT races, too: an approach that has been embedded in his company’s spirit from day one.
With Loris’ son Ronnie at the helm, the Kessel group currently employs around 200 professionals, and it is internationally renowned as a leader in the automotive field.
The group is divided into four divisions with one common focus: Classic, Auto, Racing and Service. In one word: C.A.R.S.. This manifesto is the translation of Kessel’s different commitments and roles. From official Ferrari, Pagani and Maserati dealership, to certified restoration atelier, to racing team competing at an international level.
Its outposts – Grancia, Noranco, Zug and soon Sihlbrugg – provide the most efficient and timely service to its customers and vehicles, being them Swiss or foreign.

Racing against talents like Ickx, Regazzoni and Andretti, Loris Kessel was living his childhood dream, but at the same time he was nurturing the vision of his entrepreneurial future.

The first showroom bearing the Kessel name was born in 1971. In few years, this local garage turned into an official Ferrari dealership, and an automotive landmark at a national level.
