The luxurious 4-seater coupe was born as an ultramodern interpretation of the elegant Maserati A6 1500 of 1947, which, over the years, became one of the most emblematic Maserati cars ever built, thanks to its timeless design and uncompromising GT character. The exuberance of the performance of the Ferrari aspirated V8 engine and the comfort of the four single Poltrona Frau leather seats make the GranTurismo the ultimate expression of Maserati passion, technology and craftsmanship. Both versions of the GranTurismo, Sport and MC, are powered by the legendary 4.7-litre V8 engine, which delivers 460hp at 7,000 rpm and 520 Nm of maximum torque at 4,750 rpm. Directly coupled with the rear of the engine, the 6-speed ZF automatic transmission (MC Auto Shift) is equipped with multiple functionality, already adopted on other Maserati models, such as the five modes of operation. The aspirated V8 engine is hand-assembled in the Ferrari factory in Maranello and weighs a mere 175 kg.
